Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a great location close to all sites in lovely Amsterdam. The rooms, although quite hot during the night, were clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastically helpful and friendly. The dining experience offered a variety of choices every morning. Overall, for the price and location, I can't complain at all and will definitely return on my next trip to Amsterdam.
Staying at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The room felt more like a junior suite than a standard hotel room with the need for a paint job and outdated furnishings. However, the spaciousness and beautiful view of the canal outside Amsterdam Central Station were impressive. The service was excellent with lovely staff members who were attentive and always welcoming. The location was superb, being just a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal station, making it convenient for exploring the city. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with nice options but occasional issues with food availability. Overall, the hotel offers a unique mix of positives and negatives.
I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms considering the central location next to the main station, making it very convenient. The cleanliness was adequate, although some furniture and curtains could use updating and replacement. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Carlo, who went above and beyond to assist me. The location, right opposite the Central Station, was excellent for exploring Amsterdam, but the presence of rowdy late-night activities nearby could be disruptive. The dining options offered a good variety, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel gave us plenty of room in a quiet area away from street noise with a lovely view, featuring comfortable single beds ideal for a tired group after a long day of travel. However, the initial chill was quickly resolved by adjusting the radiator and closing the curtains.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. On the upside, the rooms were spacious, with a nice view, and the breakfast was top-notch. The staff was incredibly helpful. However, there were maintenance issues in the older parts of the building, and the steep ladder-like steps were a bit challenging to navigate.
The hotel rooms are lovely and big, clean, and offer nice drinks on the cobbled streets right outside. Everything is in walking distance, with parking at the P+R at the Amsterdam Arena which is very convenient and affordable at only 1 euro a day. However, the rooms were a bit tired.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were nice and served a good breakfast each morning, although a bit compact and with limited breakfast choices. The light in the room was a bit weak. The service was great, very friendly and helpful, making my experience enjoyable. The location was also perfect, allowing for easy access to various tourist spots and nearby transportation hubs. The dining experience was satisfying, with tasty salads being a highlight.
I couldn't ask for more for that price! The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the VERY small and abrupt staircase made access a bit challenging. The hotel is a bit dated with limited facilities, but the staff, especially Mattiys, was incredibly helpful and friendly, offering great deals and special discounts on tickets.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Amsterdam. The rooms were basic but clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the view of the Central Station from my window made up for any shortcomings.
The hotel offered spacious rooms with three comfortable beds and a large bathroom, although in need of a modern update. The location was superb, just a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station, with some noise from the nearby trams. The service was extremely warm and helpful, offering proactive suggestions for sightseeing. The dining selection was good but started a bit late for early flights. Overall, a convenient spot for exploring the city with a few room improvements to consider.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and private in a separate building, offering a fantastic view. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome. However, the dining options were mediocre, and the annex building access had safety concerns.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were clean and the smoking permitted, the constant smell of cigarettes and weed wasn't pleasant. The small fridge and electric kettle were convenient amenities. However, the rooms got warm during the night. The service, particularly from guys like Mattijs and Carlo at reception, was exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and added humor to the stay, though my complaint about the poor TV signal was not addressed. The hotel's location was ideal, close to all main attractions in Amsterdam, which made exploring the city easy. The dining options were decent, with a good selection of cold cuts, fruits, rolls, and breads, but lacking in variety for vegetarians. Overall, the hotel offered a comfortable stay with some drawbacks.
The hotel is perfectly situated at the heart of Amsterdam, with a great view of the street, canal, and the central station. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The service was excellent, especially considering our late-night returns, although there was an issue with the heat. The location is ideal for convenience, being right in front of the central station and close to the red light district. Dining was good but could offer more choices. Overall, a clean and friendly hotel with some minor room issues.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and away from any street noise, making them perfect for our group of four. The service was exceptional with all staff members being incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, especially for my train-hopping adventure. The dining options were varied and delicious, adding to the overall satisfaction of my stay.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, perfect for our group after a long day of travel. The location was great, just across from Centraal Station, but the noise from the trams could be heard on occasion. The service was exceptional, with friendly and humorous staff. The dining experience was decent but could use more variety. Overall, a good value for the money.
